Personal Finance APP Feature
Positive aspects: 1. What was spent, where and how I did managing month to month. 2. Security=online banking, I trust it. Because you can do nothing but viewing accounts info. 3. See where high spending. 4. Recommendation on other credit card, saving which has lower interest. 5. Make budgeting kind of fun. 6. No account number on there. 7. Easy to manage. 8. Favorite is the pie chart of spending, click on a wedge & seeing itemized list. 9. Good at budgeting, tracking where& how money is going. 10.See all your balances in one place. 11.Real time + categories. 12.Test/ email alert + end of week sum of spending. 13.Good tracking spending + notice any unexpected activity 14.Chart + graphics : showing result/ spending. 15.Having saving goals. Negative Aspects: 1. Website feature ≠ APP feature 2. Cannot import file format like csv. 3. Edit account info on APP (name, status) 4. Account view not updating.Tech problem. Solution: import csv file, update manually. 5. Cannot view transaction by category over a certain period of time. 6. Create custom categories within the APP, not just on web. 7. Need cash account, where cash make purchase. 8. Custom accounts tracking needs to be added. 9. Lack a lot of details and simple editing tasks, ex: edite date of paycheck. Walgreens stuff all goes into “health & fitness” category. 10.No option for downloading or printing year end report. 11.Wish it could manage different bill accounts, allow to pay each bill through the app. 12.“Check” management is needed. 13.“Add Transaction” 14.Bill reminder push notification-calender. 15.APP can edite categories instead of website, look at transaction in one category across all accounts/ tax related transaction . 16.Do wish more ways to analyze spending. Debt APP Feature Positive aspects: 1. Target paying the debt has the highest interest first. (Ready for zero) 2. Like the number of “interest paid per day ”.(Ready for zero) 3. It really works on getting rid of debt. (Debt Minder) 9. Show you exactly ho much interest you’ll save and pay off debts.(Debt Minder) 10.Like the graph for saving & paying off debts. (Debt Minder) 11.Pay debts on different methods. ex: lowest balance first, high interest rate first.(Debt Free) 12.Break down your debt by category.(Debt Free) 13.Let you customize your monthly payment, other than assume you will pay a set amount each month. (Debt Free) 14.Love the loan calculator + payment reminder. (Debt Free) 15.Debt tracking is great. (Debt Free) 16.How it summarizes my debt, so I can see the total amount of debt I have. (Debt Free) 17.Several plans for eliminating debt. (Debt Free) 18.Good understanding in minimum & extra you can afford each month, then it prioritizes. (Debt Free) 19.Can change the order of which I pay off the bill. (Debt Free) 20.See the change in amount of interest paid over the course instantly. (Debt Free) 21.Show the progress, and can see the date they don’t need to use it anymore. (Debt Free) 22.Let you play with extra payment of debt, and get it paid the quickest. (Debt Free) 23.Pie chart, snowball calculator, intuitive design. (Debt Free) 24.Nice to see how much interest I am paying. (Debt Free) 25.Love the flexibility. It allow users do a lot of control over payment. (Debt Free) 26.Great way of visualizing how the debt snowball works. (Debt Free) Negative Aspects: 1. Do not update in real time, sync issue. -wish to be able to type in data for that one manually. (Ready for zero ) 2. Some bank or credit card companies can’t link up. (Ready for zero ) 3. Too many notifications. (Ready for zero ) 4. Do not recognize auto pay, still send reminders. (Ready for zero ) 5. Email confirmation takes forever. (Ready for zero ) 6. Needs a monthly budgeting & expense calculator. (Debt Free) 9. Hope to have a basic calculator instead of going for another calculator app. (Debt Free) 10.Separate tax + insurance from overall monthly payment. (Debt Free) 11.Add confirmation numbers for payments. (Debt Free) 12.Student loan users said: calculation they use are inaccurate for what he is actually paying. Be great to be able to turn off particular feature off. (Debt Free) 1. It would be better to know what you have paid for current month. (Debt Free) 2. See the total amount debt paid off.
